Ibrahim Shiuree, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Visit Maldives Corporation, holds an impressive educational background and a diverse portfolio of professional experience. He earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA), specialising in Public Relations & Communication, from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Malaysia in 2011.

In his professional career, Shiuree has served as Director of Projects & Infrastructure at United Development Pvt Ltd since August 2011, providing strategic oversight and performance monitoring across major infrastructure initiatives. His portfolio includes significant involvement in airport expansion and development projects such as Fuvahmulah, Dharavandhoo, Ifuru, Kooddoo, Kudahuvadhoo, and Kulhudhuffushi airports.

Beyond his executive roles, Shiuree has contributed actively to industry and community development. He previously served as an Executive Board Member of the Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI), where he supported efforts to strengthen industry standards and institutional growth. He also serves as Vice President of the Table Tennis Association of Maldives (TTAM) since September 2020, promoting the sport both nationally and internationally.

Shiuree’s achievements extend beyond his professional career into sports, where he has been recognised with numerous awards and accolades, including the National Youth Award at the age of 16, along with multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals in international sporting events. He is also the proud recipient of The National Award of Recognition for his contributions to sports development and the promotion of professional sportsmanship.
